Quick Questions: Criticism

Politics has been polarized for a long time. Everyone knows that. But it feels different lately, probably since Obama became president. It feels like a type of identity politics has taken over across the political spectrum. It’s no longer confined to leftists and activists. It’s gotten to the point where I feel like, as a Democrat, I’m not supposed to say anything negative about Biden or Pelosi. And I’m certainly not supposed to say anything positive about any Republicans. Is that pressure real or is it in my head?
