It’s become something of a tradition around these parts for me to post something each day during December. I’m going to try my best to keep it alive. But, 2020 being 2020, I can’t make any guarantees. It’s been a rough year for most of us, and for me, not really conducive to great writing.
I don’t know what I’m going to write about. I have a few half-formed ideas ranging from pure philosophy on the nature of the self to sports to music to holiday musings. I have nowhere near thirty-one ideas, though. That’s why I’m cheating and using this as my first post.
If you have any ideas for me, please share them. If you’re curious what I think about something, ask. If you want a short story, give me a prompt. I’ve even been known to write some poetry on demand. (With poetry, it’s much better if I can work with something, a form, a rhyme scheme, a subject, or whatever. The more criteria, the better.)
So, welcome to December 2020. We’re in the home stretch. Let’s try to end things on a high note.
