I woke up to the headline that the House of Representatives are releasing six years’ worth of Trump’s tax returns. Am I the only one who doesn’t care? All I felt upon reading the headline was a stab of annoyance at the Democrats. Like everything that the Democrats seem to do, it’s too little and too late.
I mean, what are we going to learn from the tax returns? Probably that Trump is a crook and a conman. Of course, everyone has known that since the 1980s. It might have done some good during the 2016 campaign. Or maybe during Trump’s presidency (although that’s unlikely). Now that Trump is a regular citizen, and a sad, lonely, pathetic one at that, why do the Democrats continue to keep him in the news?
That’s my little rant. And, for the record, it’s a rant against the Democrats. Their level of ineptitude can’t just come from incompetence. It’s got to take real effort. They’ve raised it to an art form. I’d almost appreciate it if it weren’t so gosh darn frustrating.
